MOTIVE MISSING IN PENNSYLVANIA HIGH SCHOOL STABBING SPREE
"Nate Moore was walking to homeroom, book in hand, when a classmate he knew to be quiet and unassuming tackled a freshman boy a few feet in front of him...he was stabbing his victim in the belly, Moore said. The suspect got up and slashed Moore's face, then took off down the hall, where authorities said he stabbed and slashed other students in an attack that injured 21 students and a security guard..." Reports have emerged of heroic acts during the chaos of the attack. And people are trying to understand what could have motivated the attacker, whose lawyer describes him as a "typical young kid. He's a B+ student. The family is like Ozzie and Harriet. They have dinner together every night…" Four of the 22 victims are still in critical condition, and one who was "eviscerated" may not survive.
