UBER, NEW YORK 'REACH TENTATIVE TRUCE' "On the heels of a days-long publicity war, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has tabled his plan to limit the number of new Uber vehicles in the city. The administration reached an agreement with Uber to halt a City Council bill that would place a cap on the company's cars during a four-month study into the impact of Uber and other for-hire car companies on traffic in the city."
