Harrison Ford was involved in a plane crash near a Los Angeles golf course on Thursday afternoon, according to multiple reports.
The Los Angeles Times reports that the plane crashed at the Penmar Golf Course in Venice and according to TMZ, Ford was taken to the hospital following the incident. The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that the plane's solo occupant was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. There were no other injuries.
TMZ was the first to report that Ford was piloting the plane, and NBC reports that Ford sustained serious injuries, including cuts to his head. "There was blood all over his face," a Penmar Golf Course employee told NBC News.
Ford is a seasoned pilot, and was reportedly flying a vintage World War II-era plane. NFL's Andrew Siciliano tweeted a photo from the golf course:
