Chinese military aircraft spotted several floating pieces of debris, raising world hopes that Malaysian Airlines flight 370 had been found. Australian aircraft spotted other floating items in the same region. Ships should be in the area by this afternoon. New sources are claiming the plane dropped to an altitude of 12,000 feet. "Hopes of finding any more survivors from a massive mudslide that killed at least eight people waned as searchers pulled more bodies from the tangled debris field and crews worked through the night into Monday in rural Washington state."
