TRUMP FOUND GUILTY
Donald Trump became the first US president to be convicted of a crime when a New York jury found him guilty of falsifying documents to cover up a payment to silence a porn star ahead of the 2016 election. The 12-member jury pronounced Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts he faced.
Now, the judge overseeing the case will soon face a monumental choice: whether or not to sentence him to time behind bars. Prison time is rare for people convicted in New York state of felony falsification of business records, but not unprecedented. We have an explainer on what's next for Trump.
