- Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Britain was ready to play a leading role in delivering security guarantees for Ukraine, including being ready to put "our own troops on the ground if necessary". He made the commitment ahead of an emergency leaders' meeting in Paris to discuss Europe's role in a ceasefire.

- Airbus, Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney and Rolls-Royce are expanding parts sourcing from India, driving growth in the country's emerging aerospace sector and pushing local firms to elevate their games, industry insiders say.

Papal selection thriller "Conclave" and period drama "The Brutalist" were the big winners at the BAFTA Film Awards, getting four prizes each. "Conclave", which had led nominations with 12 nods, won the night's most coveted award, best film, as well as outstanding British film, best adapted screenplay and best editing. |
